Aloha! Hawaii contract

It has been my goal to be a travel nurse from the first day of nursing school.Traveling has always been a passion of mine and through travel nursing I have been able to make my goal a reality. Learning about new culture and people has grown me into a better person. My first 'technical' travel assignment was in Dallas, Texas. I moved there with Blythe and had a best time exploring a new city and adjusting to this new way of life. I worked at UT Southwestern in a permanent position for about a year and then took a travel position located south of Dallas. Methodist Mansfield Medical Center was an excellent first travel assignment. I was very fortunate to work with an amazing group of nurses, aides and doctors. They really set the bar high! They were welcoming and made me feel like I had been apart of the team from day 1. After 2 years of living in Dallas, I decided I wanted to see more cities and use my profession to do so. Back to the Motherland and then back to America!!!

August 16, 2015. Our last full day in Europe- it is bitter sweet. We slept in a bit and then went out exploring Dublin a bit more. Stopped at a few pubs and went to an area of the city we had not seen yet. Our hostel looked like a barracks.....   .... so for privacy we hung our towels up.. no one likes waking up to someone staring at you.     All of the pubs have outside seating, its entertaining to people watch.   I think the second time around we loved Dublin a lot more. When we first arrived we were very jet-lagged and I was not feeling so well. This time we enjoyed the atmosphere and everything the city has to offer much more! Very talented musicians. And this song especially is very important to us <3     We had an amazing time in every city we went. THANK YOU EUROPE! <3

Land of sangria and paella!

August 12, 2015. BARCELONA! We had a very early flight this am and got little to no sleep. We arrived in Barcelona around 10am and were on the search for our last Airbnb apartment accomodations. Hopefully it will be better than Venice! Luckily, I know the city pretty well from being here 3 years ago and we did not have a problem whatsoever finding the apartment. It is a cute 2 bedroom apartment, 6th floor, located in the gothic/raval area of downtown Barcelona. It is right in the thick of everything with a great view of the plaza. We were very relieved to see it was a great apartment. Our bedroom, a full bed!!!   Tiniest elevator- had to open and shut the doors manually. Harbor at Barcelona We decided we needed a nap after the flight and having no sleep from our last night in Rome. After we were refreshed from our nap it was time to explore. Mercat de San Joseph   We walked around Las Ramblas; which is the main street with many shops, rest...
